Solar for Internally Displaced Persons Camp (Solar for IDP Camp) is an initiative of GIFSEP; (Global Initiative for Food Security and Ecosystem) aimed at powering all IDP Camps in Nigeria with Solar. The insurgency and communal crises have displaced about 2 Million people who are taking shelter in Internally Displaced Persons Camp in different parts of the country and nearly all the camps are without electricity.
