The Solar for Internally Displaced Persons Camp (Solar for IDPs Camp) initiative of GIFSEP; (Global Initiative for Food Security and Ecosystem) is aimed at powering all IDP Camps in Nigeria with Solar. Since its inception in 2018, we have been able to light up 1000 households in Internally Displaced Persons camps in the North Eastern region of Nigeria.

Organisations and Individuals can donate or buy solar kits for onward distribution to the IDP’S.

Our Solar kit is a 10watts Panel, 10,000Mah Battery, 3 LED Bulbs, Torchlight and USB for charging of phones and a small radio.
