The project seeks to encourage and demonstrate the essence of collective measures to address climate change primarily by promoting environmental stewardship through behavioral change and skills in renewable energy and waste management.
The key stakeholders are Students, Teachers, Education Administrators and host communities
The objectives of the project include:
- Increasing school teachers and student’s awareness and knowledge on climate change.
- To equip the students with skills which will enable them take responsible actions towards improving the environment and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
- To promote environmentally –friendly lifestyles and consumption habits and encourages actions that would protect the environment.
- To improve environmental governance by promoting a participatory model that gathers stakeholders and encourages them to share perspectives on climate mitigation and adaptation.
