This year marked a quiet but powerful milestone for GIFSEP, Ten years of community-rooted climate action. What began as a small vision has grown into a sustained movement working at the intersection of food security, environmental justice, and climate resilience across Nigeria.

Over the past decade, GIFSEP has partnered with communities, civil society, media, and development partners to advance climate-smart agriculture, renewable energy advocacy, youth leadership, and people-centered policy engagement. These milestones reflect not just organisational growth, but the trust built with communities and partners who continue to shape our work.

As part of the anniversary, we paused to appreciate long-standing partners whose collaboration has strengthened our impact, and to reflect on the journey so far, one defined by learning, persistence, and collective action.

Looking ahead, GIFSEP enters its next decade with an affirmed purpose;  deepening community resilience, strengthening governance and partnerships, and advancing inclusive climate solutions that leave no one behind. The vision remains clear; inclusive locally led action, nationally grounded impact, and globally connected advocacy.
